This guy: Andre Michelle rocks. Seems to be some kind of audio code, tech master. This pic is of a tenori-on-like device which makes soaring soundscapes when you hammer at it's buttons- even if you're shit it just seems to work out somehow. 
Be sure to check out his other stuff too I really like these too-super ellipse and pulsate.
This picture is basically the original analogue 'making of' the Star Wars titles. Brilliant: they don't make 'em like they used to.

Jos introduced me thoroughly to Alfred Hitchcock after having bought the box set of his later american stuff. Perhaps the best thing on the dvds though is the trailers- bloody hell Hitchcock is brilliant- this was back in the days when motion pictures were all round entertainment with suspense, romance and comedy all bound up in one linear(ish) storyline. (The other thing which always strikes me about these films is also the pace of them- so slow compared with the MTVed up features today.)
