I love this set of Vids from AMVBBDO about the consequences of carrying knives. More than that I love the way it functions- this kind of story telling will get more popular and important. The internet means that we don't have to have linear or traditional films, stories, books, comics, any of it.
Conveyor Shelf
Not sure about this- I think the video doesn't show what this thing is about- I haven't got my thoughts clear enough about it for it to really make sense- but i've done it now so i'll post the video. Conveyor Shelf 1 from Luke Thompson on Vimeo.
Like a Comic
This struck me as similar to the self knowing graphic novels from Jack Schulze's lecture. I think it also shares something or other with Mccloud's Ted talk aswell. The art of telling stories is becoming more and more interesting to me.
Ted Fest: Scott Mccloud: Comics
I went on a ted binge and this guy unloaded his head in my face- i felt like i'd had a days lecture in like 20 minutes- the guys presetentation would make mike weep- and he passes around some beautiful theory and then concludes with a workable and interesting example.
